Master Class Structure:
Days 1: Introduction & building foundations for the piece.
The artist will present his vision, implementation and the objectives and skills to be achieved during the master class.
After a short break, the students will start working under Igor Shipilin’s guidance. The first step will be improvisation (creating an acrylic abstract), an unconscious painting born from your unleashed imagination and creativity. The resulting image will serve as a starting point, the basis for the future work. The composition is not yet defined and the further task will be to find it within your abstract work.

Days 2-6:
The following days will focus on practicing abstract thinking, fantasizing gradually and revealing shapes. You will gradually move from subconscious to conscious. The artist will be demonstrating the process, for you to understand how to approach the canvas and engage in the creative task. You will learn to sense the right moment, the color spots to be united as one, the lines to give direction and so, gradually, you will create harmony. The main thing is to know when to stop, to feel the moment when the work is done. It is important to stop in time without bringing up a realistic picture of the specifics.

The students will take all their previously learned knowledge and bring their composition to life, culminating in the final painting. The final piece will be shown in a group exhibition for public view for duration of a 1 week.
